Iraqi H & C Ministry signs contracts to build residential complexes
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Housing and Construction announced that “The Housing Fund concluded contracts with nine investment companies to build residential complexes in a number of Iraqi provinces.”
A statement by the Ministry quoted its Minister, Mohamed al-Daraji, as saying “The concerned engineering, technical and legal commissions are conducting the statements required to offer the loans for those companies.”
“The investment companies are going on building 18, 000 residential units,” the statement added.
“The number of borrowers among citizens from the Housing Fund in 2012 surpassed 14, 000 persons,” the statement added, noting “This figure represents double the number of the those who have been lent since the establishment of the Housing Fund in 2005.”
