Iraqi Housing Minister launches imitative to establish unified Arab house design
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Housing & Construction, Mohamed Sahib al-Daraji, launched, during the Arab Ministers of H & C conferences, an initiative to establish unified Arabic House design.
During a press conference attended by IraqiNews.com correspondent, Daraji said “Starting from 2013, the modern designs will match the modern construction techniques to abandon the old ones in the form and content.”
“The problem of the housing in Iraq necessitates making use of the Arab expertise in this field,” the minister added noting “We were shown 130 researches where we have chosen 40.”
“The housing problem needs three things, firstly: preparation of land areas, secondly: moneys, thirdly: quick and wise management away from bureaucracy, so we focused in our selection among those researches on what benefits Iraq.”
