(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Oil Ministry announced on Thursday a reduction in the exported quantities of crude oil for the month of September to reach about 91 million barrels, pointing out that the earned income rate amounted to more than three billion dollars.

Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “preliminary statistics issued by the Iraqi oil marketing company SOMO for exporting quantities of crude oil for the month of September saw a decline in the month of August as a result of the stop of the region for providing SOMO with agreed quantities in the budget of 2015.”

Jihad added that “the total volume of oil exports for the month of September amounted to 91 million and 552 thousand and 863 barrels compared to last August, in which oil exports reached 95 million and 447 thousand barrels, while total exports through the port of Ceyhan that reached 636 thousand and 645 barrels.”
