Iraqi ports receive commercial ships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Company for Iraqi Ports associated to the Ministry of Transportation announced receiving eight commercial ships.

A statement by the MoT reported on Thursday “Maqal seaport received four commercial ships from Iran loaded with artificial Salt and cement.”

“Meanwhile, Khor al-Zubair port, of southern Basra province, received an Iranian ship loaded with cement as well as a ship with benzene cargo,” it added.

“On other hand, another ship loaded with (535) containers docked at Um Qasr port of southern Basra, coming from Singapore besides other ship loaded with (447) equipments from Kaaruka,” the statement concluded.
