MoC holds meeting to discuss Iraqi satellite project

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Communications held a meeting with the ministerial committee responsible for the accomplishment of the Iraq satellite project.The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Technical Secretary of the Ministry, Amir al-Bayati, held a meeting with the ministerial committee responsible for the accomplishment of the Iraqi satellite project, which was attended by members of the Ministries of Interior, Defense, National Security and the Science and Technology, at the headquarter of the Ministry of Communications and Post.””The attendees discussed the possibility of extending the orbits of the satellite to be able to broadcast for the worldwide and the importance of accelerating conducting the basic steps to establish the satellite then to hire a consultative firm after determining the needs of all ministries in coordination with neighboring countries directly or through the national union,” the statement added. \
