MoI&M demands for exclude his ministry from vehicles registration resolution

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed al-Karbuli, demanded the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki to exclude the General Company for Cars industry from the resolution of the Cabinet related to prevention of importing vehicles that general company participates in its production process.The statement sent by Karbuli to Maliki which was received by IraqiNews.com, cited stipulates that ”Earlier, the Cabinet has excluded the Ministry of Industry from the impacts of the resolution No. (467) of 2012 according to the resolution No. (151) of 2010,” noting that “In case this exception has been cancelled, it will have negative effects on supporting the national industry in Iraq.”

The Decree of the Cabinet states “Referring to the resolution of the Council of Ministers No.(467) of 2012 which stipulates that registering a new vehicle should be conditioned by omiting a file of an old vehicle.” \
