MP demands to increase allocations of regions development budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Kadhim al-Shimmari of the White bloc announced that “The 2013 general budget of the State does not include any increase in the allocations of the regions development budget.”

Shimmari mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The 2013 budget of the State included 10 % for the allocations of the regions development budget while the ministries have got much bigger share than the provinces.”

”The 10% is not enough to meet the needs of the provinces especially those that need support in infrastructure and services fields,” he added, demanding to ”Increase the allocations of the regions development budget since it will ensure solving many major problems which provinces suffer from.”

Several MPs expressed their objections for the reading of the 2013 budget law draft which was listed within the agenda of the Parliament session on Monday. \
