MP praises Kuwaiti resolution to invest its compensations in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the economic and investment parliamentary committee, MP Yusif al-Tai, considered that “The resolution of Kuwait to invest its compensations in Iraq will bring positive impacts to Iraq.”

MP Tai reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”Kuwait is an Arab country and just like any other country, Kuwait will be subject to the investment laws of Iraq.”

”The resolutions of Kuwait to invest its compensations in Iraq will be welcomed,” pointing out that ”The Kuwaiti resolution will bring positive impacts on economic situation in Iraq.”

The United Nations Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) has announced the consent of Kuwait to invest its compensations in Iraq and the Head of the UN mission, Martian Kobler, pointed out in press statement that ”The state of Kuwait approved to transfer major part of its compensations for investments in Basra and other provinces.” \
