Iraqi oil export levels decline during January 2014

(IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Oil announced that the exporting of Iraqi oil was not up to expectations during last January.The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Oil, Esam Jihad, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Ministry of Oil exported 2,228,000 oil barrels, where this exporting level declines 113,000 oil barrels in comparison to oil exports of December/2013.”

”This production level does not go along with the plans set by the Ministry of Oil which emphasizes to increase the production level during 2014 to hit 3,400,000 oil barrels,” the statement added.
