Parliament to vote on Federal Budget of 2013 at end of current week, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Financial Parliamentary Committee announced that the parliament will vote on the Federal Budget of 2013 at the end of the current week.

The member of the Committee, MP, Mustafa Shorash, stated to IraqiNews.com “Some suggestions were presented by political blocs, MPs and Parliamentary Committees,” noting that Most of these demands were considered and the budget law draft was amended according to these suggestions.”

“At the end of the current week, the parliament will vote on the budget law draft,” he concluded.

The parliament conducted the first and second reading of the budget law draft but is not presented for a vote due to disputes among the political blocs.
