Parliamentary IC holds meeting with FSC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Integrity Committee hosted the Chairman of the Financial Supervision Council, Abdul Basit Turkey, to discuss the legal and constitutional violations that took place while concluding the Oil contracts.The Office of the Head of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Baha al-Araji, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The meeting included discussing the accomplishment rates of the Oil contracts in the state institutions during 2012,” noting that “The Chairman of the Financial Supervision Council promised to submit a detailed report over these rates within ten days.”The statement added ”The meeting also included discussing the subject of the Central Bank of Iraq and the continued increase in the value of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar since the CBI is still selling the same amount of US Dollar at the currency auction.”
