PCs Budgets to be received by provinces according to percentage of accomplishing projects

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ameen Hadi Jijo, of the Financial Parliamentary Committee assured that the projects accomplished by the Local Governments of the provinces are based on the population number and the plans set by each province.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Each province prepares its plan to be approved by the Provincial Council then to be submitted to the Ministry of Planning and finally to be endorsed by the Ministry of Finance.”

“The sums of money are to be transferred monthly to the provinces according to the percentage of projects’ accomplishment,” he mentioned.

“The funds are sent to the provinces through the revenues of Iraqi oil,” he concluded.
