(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD– The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations (REFAATO) have started rehabilitating 228 schools and a number of police stations and healthcare centers that were damaged in terrorist operations at a number of provinces. REFAATO emphasized that the total rehabilitation cost will exceed 112 billion dinars.

REFAATO head Abdel Baset Saeed in a statement said, “The consultancy office contracted with REFAATO is preparing to rehabilitate and reconstruct 97 fully destroyed schools, 131 other schools and a number of police stations and healthcare centers.”

Saeed added, “The work will start in the provinces which are important in terms of security and these include Salahuddin, Diyala, Kirkuk, Nineveh and Babel. The total estimated cost is 112 billion dinars.”
