Sihail stresses on fighting economic crimes in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy of the Iraqi Parliament, Qusai al-Sihail, stressed the importance of supporting the Anti-Economic Crimes Department and sustaining its capabilities in fighting whoever wants to harm the country’s economy.

A statement by Sihail’s media office cited that “The First Deputy accompanying the senior secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Adnan al-Asadi visited the Anti-Economic Crimes Dept where he met with its Director, Brigadier, Hussein al-Shimmary, where they discussed the performance of the Department in combating the economic crimes as being great danger threatens the country.”

“Sihail stressed on taking the required measures against those who commit economic crimes so as to preserve the Iraqi economy,” according to the statement.
