Turkish companies operating in Basra exceeds 100

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Consulate in Basra province of Iraq announced existence of more than 100 Turkish companies operating in the province where the Turkish investment in Basra reached nearly $ 700 million.

The Turkish Consol, Farouk Qaimaqji cited that “There are more than 100 companies are operating currently in Basra and some of them work with the Iraqi companies” noting that “These companies operate 10,000 persons at least from Basra people.”

Qaimaqji pointed out that “The projects of those companies cover all sectors such as investment project of rebuilding the infrastructures…etc.”
