URGENT: Kurdistan Region exports 10 million barrels of oil via Turkey
(IraqiNews.com) Turkish Energy Minister, Taner Yildiz, said that the Kurdistan Region exported ten million barrels of oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan since May.
Yildiz added that the thirteenth tanker has been loaded with Kurdish oil and that Kurdish oil piped to Turkey has increased to 180,000 barrels per day.
The Kurdistan Region of Iraq uses new methods for the independent sale of oil in defiance of the Central Government in Baghdad, which describe these sales as illegal.
