300 Housing units allocated for displaced families in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) The governor of Maysan province, Ali Dawai Lazim, inaugurated 300 low cost housing units allocated for displaced families who are living in illegal areas and 15 % of these units were allocated for families of the province.

A source of Maysan Governorate mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The cost of the single housing unit with area of (100 M) is IQD eight million,” pointing out that ”The housing units project has been accomplished in cooperation with the High Commission for Refugee Affairs of the UN.”

”The housing units are situated in Rahma neighborhood, which was previously inaugurated with 100 housing units, and the neighborhood is supplied with electricity power, potable water and sewage networks,” the source added, noting that “The housing units will be distributed on most aggrieved families.” \
