 Iraq receives Danish grant worth 3.3 million dollars

(IraqiNews.com) The United Nations announced that Iraq has received a Danish grant worth 3.3 million dollars to support the government in the reforms in the country.

The United Nations Mission in Iraq said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The United Nations Development Programme signed with Denmark a grant agreement worth three million and 300 thousand dollars to support the government and the security reforms as well as the restoration of stability in Iraq.”

The statement added, “The grant will be distributed to projects that supports the reforms of the security sector which comes in the framework of UNDP to support the government efforts to build a more secure, prosperous and democratic Iraq.”
