(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Head of Ramadi District Council announced on Sunday the return of 26,000 displaced families to their areas in the district, while pointed out that the technical staff continue to repair the internal electricity networks in Ramadi.

Head of the district council, Ibrahim, al-Awsaj, said in a brief statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “More than 26,000 displaced families have returned to their areas in the district of Ramadi,” stressing that, “More families are expected to return to Ramadi after the completion of the exam period of the displaced students.”

He added, “The technical staff are continuing to work on the internal electricity networks for the delivery of electricity to more than one place in Ramadi,” pointing out that, “The electricity network has returned to the neighborhood of al-Qadisiya.”
