Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, U.S. Pentagon officials said that they cannot determine the fate of $6.6 billion in cash which was intended to fund Iraqi government in the development of Iraq.

According to American Spectator site, Pentagon officials said after a decade of investigations that they cannot determine what happened with $6.6 billion in cash which was intended to fund Iraqi government in the development of Iraq.

Official reports indicate the money was transferred from the reserve currency repository in the United States to one of Saddam’s palaces and distributed to Iraqi ministries and military bases. But after 9 years it seems the amount of $6.6 billion disappeared into thin air and is impossible to track because there are no records or papers.
