(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called the Chinese companies to invest in Iraq assuring that 80% of its area is safe, stable and ripe for investment, while emphasized that Iraq has enormous economic capabilities and human diversity.

Abadi said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Iraq is fighting a war against ISIS terrorist gangs,” adding that, “We have succeeded to achieve victories by virtue of our armed forces and volunteers, in addition to cleanse large areas of the Iraqi lands.”

“80% of the Iraqi area is safe, stable and ripe for investment, while most Iraqi provinces are safe and have major working companies. The government is encouraging investment and attracting global companies,” he added.

Abadi called the Chinese companies to invest in Iraq while said, “The Iraqi government is working to create an attractive environment for investment, in addition to meet our needs in the fields of housing, services, electricity, oil, as well as the urgent need for armament and developing military industry.”
