(IraqiNews.com) Basra – On Tuesday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Basra to hold the regular cabinet meeting in the province, along with a number of ministers.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com said, “This morning, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Basra International Airport to hold the regular session of the Council of Ministers in the province, along with a number of ministers,” noting that, “Abadi was received by the governor of Basra Majed Nasraoui, in addition to many local government officials.

Earlier today, Head of the Provincial Council of Basra Sabah al-Bzoni revealed, that the Council of Ministers will hold its regular session in Basra Province to discuss several issues including the construction of the dam in Basra, insistence of the local government to build the dam in Abu Flus area, in addition to discussing the security file.
