(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Wednesday the member of Anbar Provincial Council Farhan Mohammed announced, that the local government is unable to provide the needed aid to the displaced families who emigrate from the western regions, while called for international aid to provide food and shelters for the displaced families.

Farhan Mohammed said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Anbar government is unable to receive the newly displaced people from the western regions of Anbar due to the lack of support and weakness of financial budget, which requires an international aid to contain the crisis.”

Muhammad added, “Despite the lack of financial allocations, Anbar Provincial Council is working to help the displaced families and evacuate them to the safe areas in the district of Khalidiya, Habbaniyah area and Amiriyat Fallujah,” pointing out that, “International aid is needed because of the increasing numbers of displaced people.”

Mohamed also pointed out, “50 thousand people emigrated from the regions of Heet and Kabisa in the past few days, and these numbers are expected to increase after the progress of the security forces in the liberation battles against ISIS guerrilla.”
