Baghdad Municipality increases Zawraa Park ticket price, cancels free entry to other parks

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Baghdad Municipality announced increasing the Zawraa Park entry ticket price to 1,000 dinars per ticket, indicating that the free entry to other parks is cancelled.

The secretariat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “It has been decided to increase the price of Zawraa Park tickets from 500 to 1000 dinars per ticket.”

The secretariat added, “This action is in line with the orientations of Baghdad Municipality to expand imports for the lack of financial allocations and the need to find alternatives that will enhance the services in the capital.”

It continued, “Free entry to other parks was canceled because the Baghdad Municipality is a self-funded institution,” pointing out that, “Parks and Forestation Department will consider reducing the wages for some social classes.”
