Christmas announced as state holiday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced next Tuesday as a state holiday for Christians on the occasion of the New Year Christmas.

The General Secretariat reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”Next Tuesday is announced as a state holiday for Christians on the occasion of Christmas.”

”The General Secretariat take this opportunity to offer the best congratulations and blessings for all Iraqis, Iraqi Christians and all Christians in the world hoping next year to bring peace, harmony and love,” the statement added. \
