Diwaniya service departments prepare for fall of huge amounts of rain

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) The service departments in Diwaniya province gathered all their efforts after the fall of huge amounts of rain last night and Tuesday morning which caused floods of water in several areas and main roads in the province.

Director of Diwaniya Sewerage Department, Engineer Amira Attiya al-Saadi, told IraqiNews.com “The cadres and vehicles of the sewerage department are in a case of emergency since Monday evening to deal with floods that occurred in several areas of Diwaniya and blockade of the sewerage lines as well as blockade of some main roads.”

“Diwaniya Sewerage Department set a long term services plan in cooperation with other governmental departments to prepare for the rain season,” she added. /End/
