Diyala Council announces 3 days of public mourning for the victims of Baqubah

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The council of Diyala province on Sunday, announced 3 days of public mourning for the victims resulted from the solid fighting against the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during the past few days in North Baqubah.

The President of the Security Committee in the Council of Diyala province Sadiq al-Husseini, said that “The Council of Diyala province decided the public mourning for three days, praising the souls of those martyrs whom we lost in fighting against ISIL militants in Diyala.

Al-Husseini added that “The bravery and the union of the armed clans against ISIL resulted in increase of the security forces abilities to work in defiance against ISIL gangs.
