Earthquake hits northwestern Nasiriya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An earthquake took place for the second time within couple days in Rifaye district of northwestern Nasiriya city, capital of Dhi Qar province, on last Sunday evening.

A statement by the IMSO cited on Monday “Our teams registered a shake that hit Rifaye district, 15 km to the northwest of Nasiriya, where its degree was 4,1 according to Richter Scale.”

The Organization has reported earlier on last Saturday that an earthquake took place in Rifae district of northwestern Nasiriya reached 4,2 degree.
