(IraqiNews.com) ERBIL- On Saturday, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani expressed his ‘satisfaction’ on the failed coup attempt in Turkey.
Barzani, in a statement, said, “We express our satisfaction to the triumph of the will of Turkish people on the attempted coup against the legitimacy and the will of the people,” adding, “We are convinced that the failure of this attempt will strengthen the authority and the government, as well as the will of the Turkish people “.
Barzani congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and all the parties and the Turkish people who foiled this attempt.
“Unity of the Turkish people helped in maintaining the legitimacy and the protection of Turkey and the region of instability and large mess,” Barzani concluded.
