Hundreds of concrete barriers lifted in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Mayoralty has lifted a big number of the concrete barriers in Baghdad in cooperation with Baghdad Operations Command.

A statement by Baghdad Mayoralty received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “Al-Adhamiya Municipality has lifted 380 concrete barriers from Waziriya, Adhamiya and Cairo areas.”

“Al-Karkh Municipality has lifted a big number of the concrete barriers from Damascus and Muthana Airport streets because those barriers caused in blocking the sewerage and hindered draining the rainwater,” the statement concluded.
