Iraq participates in 9th International Festival of Environment

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation of the Ministry of Environment participated in the ninth session for the International Festival of Environmental Movies which took place in Qayrawn city in Tunis.

The Ministry of Environment reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”The participation of the Ministry of Environment included displaying a documentary environmental movie, made by the television team of the ministry, under the title of (The Forbidden Land) which talks about unexploded mines and missiles in the Iraqi territories and how to warn citizens from the risks of these mines.”

”The festival included seminars about awareness to preserve environment and to establish technical workshops in film directing field in order to prepare documentary environment movies,” according to the statement which noted that “The five best movies of the festival will get prizes and all the participants will get appreciation certificates.”
