Iraq’s Ambassador to Bahrain meets Bahraini Head of Shura Council

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Bahrain Mr. Ahmed Rashid, met Mr. Nayef bin Ali Saleh, head of the Shura Council.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “During the meeting, they reviewed the constitutional and legislative institutions and the independence of the three powers in Iraq and democratic model in Iraq.”

“For his part, the Head of Shura Council delivered his greetings to the President of the House of Representatives, stressing the support of the Government and people of Bahrain to Iraq,” the statement concluded. /End/
