Iraqi Airlines to complete transporting pilgrims to Mecca

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Airlines Company announced that it will transport the last group of the Iraqi pilgrims of 4000 ones during this Saturday and tomorrow.

A statement by the Ministry mentioned that “The Company worked in cooperation with Hajj Board to transport more than 14000 pilgrims from Iraq to the Saudi Arabia at percentage of 1050 pilgrims per day.”

“Iraqi Airlines Co. mobilized its entire staff in preparation for the pilgrimage season for this year and set up an operation cell to prevent taking place any malfunction or hurdle that may face the process of transporting the pilgrims,” the statement added.

“The Company thus has finished its task in transporting 18000 pilgrims to the Holy Lands in Mecca,” it concluded.
