Iraqi Electricity Ministry, S. Korean LSIS Co. sign contract for equipping

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity concluded a contract with the South Korean LSIS Company to equip three electric power transmission stations with 132 kv.

The spokesperson of the Ministry, Musab al-Mudaris, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “The contract was concluded by the general directorate of power transmission projects at cost of $ 39 million. The contract includes providing equipments of (G.I.S) type, and spare parts for three transmission power stations of 132 kv in Baghdad.”

“The S. Korean Co. also will train the Iraqi technical and engineering staff within the directorate,” the statement concluded.
