Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Environment called the relevant authorities, local governments and the provincial councils to ban the usage of paints which contain lead material in painting walls of the schools and kindergartens.

A statement by the Ministry cited “The Environment addressed the Ministry of Education in order to circulate an official letter to all the headmasters to prevent using the leaded paints for its negative impact on the humans’ health.”
