Iraqi Health Ministry warns from cupping phenomenon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Health warned from the cupping phenomenon, stressing “The Ministry did not grant any approval to practice this profession.”

A statement by the Ministry cited “This phenomenon may cause transmission of many blood-borne diseases due to use of the same tools for many persons,” noting that “There is clear spread of cupping shops in several Iraqi provinces.”
