ISIS releases 200 Yezidi

(IraqiNews.com) The ISIS organization released today about 200 Yezidi people, most of whom are elderly and children, under an amnesty declared by the organization, according to the released.

Brigadier-General in the Peshmerga forces, Circo Fatih Rauf said in interview for IraqiNews.com, “Nearly 200 Yazidi men and women, in addition to dozens of children, have crossed today the Khaled Office port—an unofficial passageway that separates the city of Kirkuk controlled by the Peshmerga forces and Hawija, which is controlled by the organization ISIS.”

He added that those released by ISIS were admitted to the city of Kirkuk, in preparation for transfer to the city of Erbil, pointing out that the released said that ISIS released them with a special pardon.
