Jordanian journal: Maliki warns Jordanian officials from exporting Israeli vegetables to Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Jordanian journal revealed that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, warned the Jordanian Government, during his recent visit to Jordon from exporting Israeli vegetables and fruits to Iraq.

Al Ghad Jordanian Journal reported senior Jordanian official as saying “Maliki discussed during his visit the topic of exporting Israeli vegetables to Iraq where he told the Jordanian officials that the only problem we have is the entry of Israeli vegetables.”

“On other hand, The Jordanian Minister of Agriculture replied that these vegetables are exported by Iraqi traders,”

Maliki stressed to him by saying “We are dealing with a state which is the responsible for this issue, warning that “this topic is not easy where it might topple governments,” according to the journal.

Maliki has visited on 24th, last December Jordon, heading a ministerial delegation where he discussed with Jordanian top officials the bilateral relations and the mutual economic cooperation between both countries.
