Jubouri stresses need for new legislations in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, stressed on Sunday need of Iraq for new legislations to change the situation in the country.

Statement by the Iraqi parliament received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Speaker of the Iraqi parliament Salim al-Jubouri received on Sunday Francisco Motta, the director of Human Rights Office within the UNAMI, and discussed with him reality of the human rights in Iraq and means of developing this situation due to the serious violations in the country.”

“The meeting also discussed the file of the Council of the Supreme Commission for Human Rights in Iraq where Jubouri emphasized the necessity of settling this issue quickly while Francisco assured that the Supreme Commission of the Human Rights has a clear vision over violations that take place in Iraq in this field,” the statement added. /End/
