Kirkuk announces Tuesday as holiday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk province has announced Tuesday as an official holiday in solidarity with Christians and the glorious Christmas.

A source in the provincial council of Kirkuk province reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The administrative department and the Provincial Council of Kirkuk decided to consider Tuesday as a holiday for all Kirkuk facilities on occasion of Christmas.”

The General Secretariat of the Cabinet announced Tuesday and Wednesday to be an official holiday for Christians in Iraq on occasion of Christmas. \
