(IraqiNews.com) Dohuk – Media official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Mosul Saeed Mamouzini announced on Thursday the death of 17 children in hospitals in Mosul because of hunger and lack of medicine.

Mamouzini said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “17 children died today in Mosul,” attributing the reasons to ” the hunger and lack of medicine.”

Mamouzini added that “the doctors are afraid to record these cases fearing for their lives.”

Mamouzini revealed on Monday (August 9, 2015) the death of 25 people in Mosul because of lack of medicines, pointing out that the civilians are suffering from a severe shortage in the field of health services.
