Local Official: Keeping last portion of MKO in Diyala to threatens next PC elections

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Mayor of Khalis District in Diyala, Uday al-Khadran, pointed out that keeping the last portion of Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Organization in the province threatens the next Provincial Council elections in the province.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Due to the MKO connection with the Baath party and Qaeda Organization, they represent a danger for the next Diyala PC elections.”

He called “To transfer the remaining members of the MKO in Ashraf Camp to bring back the land for its owners.”
