Media college to adopt new curriculum in cooperation with UNESCO

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Media College of Baghdad University started to adopt new methods in the educational process according to the new instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote the educational process in the Humanitarian studies.

The Dean of the Media College, Hashem Hassan al-Tamimi, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The reconsideration of the curriculum should be accompanied with scientific training to ensure success of this plan by adopting the program which was developed by the UNESCO over two years in cooperation with experts in media field and experts in the Ministry of Higher Educational and Scientific Research.”

The statement pointed out ”The new curriculum will adopt new scientific standers tend to scientific applications and completion of projects which enable students to own journalistic skills that can qualify them to work in media outlets,” stressing that ”The new curriculum will be applied during the academic year 2012-2013.” \
