MoE announcing shutting down of electricity for 15 districts of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity announced that the electricity will be shut down for 15 of the districts of Baghdad for one month due to the maintenance.

The spokesperson of the MoE, Musab al-Mudaris, stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The engineering and technical staff of the Directorate General of the Electric Power of the Central Area stated the rehabilitation of al-Khalij electric station in three sectors to replace the old equipment with new ones on Sunday where the station will be shut down till the 21st of February.”

“The rehabilitation process for each sector will continue for 10 days where 15 districts will be out of the electricity,” he added.

“The staff will merge the electric units and specify the usage of the electricity till finishing the maintenance,” he concluded.
