Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity announced paying the financial compensations for families of employees of the Ministry of Electricity who were executed by the former Iraqi regime at the eighties and nineties of last century.The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday ”The Acting Deputy Premier for Energy and Electricity Affairs, Hussein al-Shahristani, decided to pay the financial dues for the families of employees of the Ministry of Electricity who were executed by the former Iraqi regime.””This resolution came after paying the accumulated salaries of first group of martyrs,” noting that “The accumulated salaries reached (2,103) billion which represent the salaries of martyrs from the date of their execution until now,” the statement added.”Shahristani instructed the concerned departments to accelerate the process of paying these funds for families of victims and called the families, who are covered by this resolution, to attend at the concerned departments in order to receive their allocations,” the statement concluded. \
