MoP organizes celebration on Iraqi National Press Day

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Planning announced organizing a celebration on the occasion of the (144th) anniversary of Iraqi National Press Day.

The Ministry of Planning reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”On the occasion of the (144th) anniversary of the Iraqi National Press Day the Ministry of Planning will organize a celebration at the headquarter of the Ministry at 10:00 AM on 20 / June.”

“The celebration will be attended by the Minister of Planning, Ali Shukri,” the statement added.

The Iraqi press celebrates the (144th) National Day anniversary of Iraqi Press on 15/ June every year since it is the date of the first Iraqi newspaper issuance (al-Zawra) on 14/ June/ 1869. \END\
