MoT: Constructing Wave Breaker, Services Dock projects to start in 2013
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation announced that “Building of both projects of the Eastern Wave Breaker and the Services Dock in Fao seaport of Basra province will start by the beginning of 2013,” noting that “The two projects will be referred within the next few days to a famous company specialized in establishing seaports.”
The MoT mentioned in a statement “The Minister of Transportation, Hadi al-Amiri, inspected the workflow of the Fao port projects where he observed closely the achieved rates of completion.”
The MoT has announced, earlier, the launch of the bids of Fao Grand Port- the 1st stage (Wave Breaker and the Service Dock) projects where 16 out of 74 companies applied their bids.
