MP Hanan al-Fatlawi to sue Hoshyar Zebari for defamation and fabricated news

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, president of Irada Movement MP Hanan al-Fatlawi threatened to sue Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari on charges of defamation on the background of his statement about her owning properties in Erbil, and considered it fabricated and ridiculous news, confirming that she is not allowed to enter Erbil.
Fatlawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “I will sue Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari for his statements about me,” indicating that these statements which included accusations and fabricated news intended to defame her.
Fatlawi asked, “How is it possible for Mr. Zebari to issue such statements when he knows very well that Erbil malls and hotels are owned by al-Barazani family.”
