Muayad al-Lamy appointed as 1st deputy chairman of Arab Journalists Union

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Assembly, Muayad al-Lamy, won the post of the first deputy chairman for the General Union of Arab Journalists .The Iraqi Journalists Assembly reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Assembly, Muayad al-Lamy, won the post of the first deputy chairman of the General Union of Arab Journalists during the elections of the secretariat general of the Arab Union which took place in Cairo on Wednesday evening,” noting that “Lami got 12 votes out of 15 votes who form the secretariat general of Arab Union.””The participants of the 12th conference of the Arab Journalists Union elected 15 senior journalist figures from 13 country to form the secretariat general of Arab Journalists Union and the post of the Union chairman was granted to the Kuwaiti Ahmed Yousif Bahbahani, ”the statement added.
