Official accuses Y & S Ministry of hindering implementation of Karbala Stadium

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The Advisor of Karbala Governor for Sports, Youth Affairs, Hikmat Abdul Hassoun accused the Ministry of Sports and Youth of responsibility for delaying implementation of Football Stadium project in Karbala province.

Hassoun told IraqiNews.com that “The work of rehabilitating the old football stadium and rebuilding it started in 2008 and it was scheduled to be completed in mid of 2010, however it has not been implemented so far,” noting that “The local implementing company of the project is in need of many requirements to complete the project, yet the Ministry of Sports did not meet these needs which led to flounder the implementation of the project.”
